Outpatient Drug Rehab

Outpatient Drug Rehab

Outpatient drug rehab is a kind of rehab available for addicts and alcoholics looking for treatment without the high intensity and constant monitoring found with inpatient rehab programs. Often with outpatient drug rehab, an individual will be able to attend meetings and therapy sessions during the day and return home in the evenings to sleep. There are different kinds of outpatient drug rehab, varying from treatment sessions several times a week to everyday. Some outpatient drug rehab programs meet in the evenings, allowing people to work and attend to errands during the day. With the exception to residential living, outpatient drug rehab is essentially the same as inpatient rehab with the group and individual therapy sessions, and meetings. Along with the traditional outpatient program, there are alternative and holistic drug rehabs that also offer outpatient, giving individuals an opportunity to experience varying types of drug rehab, even with lower intensity, outpatient care.

Day Treatment Drug Rehab

Day treatment drug rehab is a type of outpatient that is a part of an inpatient rehab program. Many drug rehabs offer both inpatient and day treatment where the participants of day treatment are involved in all activities, group and individual therapy sessions as the residents of the treatment program. The only difference is that the participants of day treatment drug rehab return home at the end of the day while the residents return to the home on the premises of the rehab center. Day treatment drug rehab serves as a more intensive drug rehab program than outpatient alone
