Day treatment drug rehab is a type of outpatient that is a part of an inpatient rehab program. Many drug rehabs offer both inpatient and day treatment where the participants of day treatment are involved in all activities, group and individual therapy sessions as the residents of the treatment program. The only difference is that the participants of day treatment drug rehab return home at the end of the day while the residents return to the home on the premises of the rehab center. Day treatment drug rehab serves as a more intensive drug rehab program than outpatient alone
